A tiny house is more than just a place to rest your head at night. The tiny house movement is a life style. Supplying the individual with the basic essentials to meet their needs. A simple lifestyle allows the individual to live more freely. In a nutshell, the tiny house movement frees individuals from the chains of normal living standards by society. These normal living standards met by society are attached to excessive mortgage, interest, and utility payments. By adjusting our lifestyle to a “tiny” life, we have the capacity to decrease our environmental footprint, free ourselves from the demands of money, and free our time. Ultimately it gives us more time to find ourselves and do what makes us truly happy. The question that beckons, is, what are you willing to give up in order to life a minimalist life?

I know there will be unforeseen challenges, but that is the excitement of the journey. I’m aware that minimizing my belongings will be a troublesome task at hand, as I have many cherished items from my younger years.
